Council Tax Benefit & Housing Benefit
There is a refuse collection centre on Croxton Lane, on the left just before the canal bridge as you travel from the town. It has all the usual recycling facilities, plus oil recycling. Large containers are available for household refuse, garden waste, cardboard and electrical items.
Recycling containers are located in the car park in Civic Way, next to the Town Hall. At this site you can recycle glass, paper, plastic bottles, cans, clothing and books & music (slightly away from the main containers, close to the Civic Hall). There are two clothing banks in the Tesco car park, close to the entrance.
