There are two post offices.

The town centre post office is inside Rowlands chemist in Lewin Street, next to the Town Hall.

Also, 70 Warmingham Lane, off Booth Lane which runs alongside the canal towards Sandbach.

To date we have located 16 post boxes around the streets but let us know if you know of one that hasn’t been included.  The times recorded here are guaranteed times.  The post collector has up to half an hour after the stated time to empty the box but he cannot be early.  Once a box has been emptied a bar code on the box is scanned into a reader which also records the time.  This ensures that boxes are not emptied before the stated time.  We do still wonder, however, how anyone can manage to get around 10 of the 16 collection points at 4.00pm.  If we can find out the preferred route of the collector we will re-order the list into a collection sequence to give you a better chance of making that last post.

If you miss all of these collections you can still catch the post until 7.30pm at the Crewe Head Post Office, 2 Weston Road, Crewe.  Just around the corner from the railway station.
